Storage Locker Load-In

This role requires heavy lifting and moving. You are part of the team that meets at the storage locker and helps load all the fun equipment in to the trucks. As part of the Load-In team you will be asked to do some lifting, and fine tune your Tetris skills as we pack the truck up and get ready for the weekend

Storage Locker Load-Out

This role requires heavy lifting and moving. You are part of the team that will helps put all the equipment to rest for a year. As part of the Load-Out team you be asked do some lifting, fine tune your Tetris skills as we pack the trucks back up, and move on to to unpack them back at the storage locker. after a great weekend of fun.

Event Setup

This role may require some heavy lifting and moving. The event setup team will be waiting to assist our Load-In team when they arrive at the venue. As part of the Event Setup team you will be asked to some lifting, and be there to help setup conference rooms, front desk, and dungeon furniture.

Swag Bag Team

Love the swag bags from each year? Why not be part of the team that helps put them together. The swag bag team will meet up the night before the event starts and put together all the swag bags that go out to everyone once the event starts.

Front Desk Greeter

Are you a people person? If the answer is yes, consider being part of our Front Desk team. The front desk group is responsible for signing everyone in, checking badges, and trying to help out and answer questions when someone is looking for something. This is a great opportunity to meet lots of wonderful people as the weekend goes on!

Audio Visual Setup / On-call

We will be looking for a few AV specialists that are able to assist when needed depending on if presenters are looking for presentation setup. If you have a firm understanding in this area and want to help keep the microphones going all weekend, this is a great role for you!

Room Coordinator

As a room coordinator you are the liaison between the event and the presenter. During your time as a room coordinator you will be responsible for introducing the presenter at the beginning of the class, making sure the presenters have everything they need before starting their class, being there if anything is needed during the class, and making sure comment cards are handed out and collected after the class.

Room Setup

With some of our presenters we will need to move things around to accommodate for the class they are teaching. While the coordinator handles the communication between the presenters, we need the help of our setup team to make sure the class is setup and good to go.

Silent Auction Monitor

This year we are going to be moving or Silent Auction outside of the vendor space, and in doing so we are going to be looking for an awesome person to help monitor the table, answer questions, and help with the setup or take down.

Dungeon Setup

This role may require some heavy lifting and moving. We will be looking for a tea of people to help us move the workshop stuff out of the conference rooms and setup for the dungeon space for the parties in the evening. The setup team will be needing to move around the dungeon equipment, and make sure the logistics of the space will work for all sorts of toys being used later in the evening.

Dungeon Teardown

This role may require some heavy lifting and moving. We will be looking for volunteers to help us flip the dungeon space back in to a workshop space at the end of the night. The teardown team will move all the dungeon equipment back in to the storage room and put the chairs out to make sure everything is in great shape the next day.

Dungeon Facilitator (DF)

This role requires you to take a Dungeon Facilitator training course. If you want to play a role in making sure we keep a great space for everyone, then take a look at doing our Dungeon Facilitator training course and signing up as a volunteer for a DF team. As a DF we are looking for people who are their to encourage a facilitate play, while making sure the environment we play in is safe for everyone attending.
