Volunteer Requirement Policy – Westcoast Bound Event
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Westcoast Bound! We have established the following requirements and guidelines to ensure a smooth and successful volunteer experience. Please take note of the important information below:
- Registration Dates:
- a. Volunteer Registration: The registration for volunteers will open on August 15th.
- b. Dungeon Facilitator Registration: The registration for Dungeon Facilitators will open on September 15th.
- Registration Requirement:
- a. All individuals interested in volunteering for Westcoast Bound must register to be considered for a volunteer position.
- b. Even returning volunteers need to register again to be considered for this year’s event.
- c. If you wish to apply as a Dungeon Facilitator, you must complete the Dungeon Facilitator application, even if you have applied as a general volunteer.
- Cancellation and Absence:
- a. If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer commitment, we kindly request that you provide a one-week notice. This allows us sufficient time to find a suitable replacement.
- b. If you are unable to make your scheduled shift, please reach out to other volunteers to see if they can cover for you.
- c. Failure to provide notice and not attending your shift without prior communication will result in the requirement to hand in your pass.
- d. If you attend workshops or other event activities without fulfilling your volunteer shift, you will be asked to hand in your pass, and future volunteer eligibility may be affected.
