Morpheous is a noted Canadian sex educator, author, photographer and kinkster. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours Visual Arts) and a Bachelor of Education, with a concentration in Adult education.
Morpheous presents around the world doing outreach to both academic and kink-aware safer sex organizations. He teaches a variety of workshops on the BDSM lifestyle, including advanced and beginner BDSM, rope bondage and the aesthetics of bondage, and fetish photography.
Morpheous is the author of four alternative sexuality educational guidebooks entitled ‘How to Be Kinky: A Beginner’s Guide to BDSM’, ‘How to Be Kinkier: More Adventures in Adult Playtime’, ‘Bondage Basics: Naughty Knots and Risqué Restraints You Need to Know’ and his newest book, entitled ‘How to be Knotty’, which will be released in Spring 2017.
Currently, Morpheous is the exclusive monthly BDSM columnist for Hustler Hollywood in the USA. His articles deal with such topics as consent and communication, safety in kinky sex, and how to bring up BDSM with your partners.
He is the founder of Morpheous’ Bondage Extravaganza (MBE), the world’s largest public bondage exhibit over the past 10 years.
Morpheous’ work in BDSM outreach, including his writings and photography, is archived in the Sexual Representation Collection of the University of Toronto’s Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies; the Museum of Sex in New York City and at the Leather Archives and Museum in Chicago. He has also contributed to the new Human Sexuality textbook, Department of Psychology for Canadian Universities.
His partner/slave, Princess, will be assisting during his presentations. Princess has co-presented with Morpheous on various topics at universities and conferences across Canada over the past 3 years.
